A Disc Jockey, or more commonly a DJ, is a person who specializes in playing, recording, mixing and composing music, generally Electronic Dance (Which may refer to Techno) and Electronic Blues (likewise).

Their name refers to their "Riding" of discs when playing them, and are often seen ripping phonograph records to create a skipping sound.
